Denton Guyer rolled past North Crowley 55-7 at home on Thursday night.
Leading 35-0 at the half, Guyer came out to play on Thursday night. Standout Kaedric Cobbs ran for 101 yards and three touchdowns and Texas A&M commit Eli Stowers went 10 for 18 for 188 yards and a touchdown. Tiyon Aldridge showed out with a 63-yard run to extend the Guyer lead to 55-0.
North Crowley wasn’t going to let them get the shutout thought and with 54 seconds left in the game, Joshua Collins scored from two yards out. Denton Guyer is now 3-0 to start the season for the first time since 2009.
