Arlington Seguin High School vs Burleson High School Football Highlights | 2019 Texas Football

Burleson remains perfect on the season after the 45-27 win over the Arlington Seguin Cougars.

The cougars were the first to make it on the scoreboard with a 25 yard touchdown pass by D’avion Brice to TJ Chukwurah and kept it close until halftime. Right when it looked like they were going to hold onto the lead going into the half, Jaxon Winburn had crazy bobbling catch to take the lead for the Elks. Starting the third quarter down 20-24, the Elks were not going to give up the fight. Only allowing 89 total yards in the second half, the defense held strong and Skyler Webb tallied his second blocked punt of the night. Senior Caleb Lewis led Burleson with 83 yards on 19 carries as the Elks remain undefeated at 5-0 overall, 3-0 in district play and are getting ready for the battle of the boot against their rival Centennial.
