In a close game, Arlington Seguin scooted by Cleburne 26-23 to get their first win of the season. Jalen March ran for 201 yards with three touchdowns to lead Arlington Seguin to their first victory of the season.

After being down 20 at the half, Cleburne wasn’t going to go out without a fight. Isaak Cunningham started the third quarter off for Cleburne with an 8 yard TD reception from Gunner Hammond. Hammond would be at it again with a 13 yard run for a touchdown and then Cleburne would get a 1-yard safety to get the 16 points in the third quarter. Isaak Cunninghams 47 yard touchdown reception would cut the lead to 3 points in the fourth but it wouldn’t be enough to seal the deal.

Freshman J.J. Johnson who had a50 yard punt return for a touchdown in the third quarter for Seguin would also be the player who had the game-ending interception. JJ was playing on the freshman team only a week ago, and when varsity needed him this week he delivered.
